At the beginning of each recipe you are shown what utensils and ingredients you need for this recipe. It is good practice to have all of these to hand before starting to cook. We have tried to keep all ingredients and utensils to what is found in most kitchens to encourage beginners to cook without big expense.
The number of people this will feed is at the top of the page.


Instructions throughout are clear. Timers are used to tell how long you need to do certain tasks for. On this particular page the timer tells you to fry chicken for 5 minutes. Ingredients added are shown in panel on left. Cups and spoons are used instead of weighing scales or measuring jugs. Heat of hob is also shown.


At the end of each recipe the finished dish is shown. This is a must as it shows that even the simpliest meal can be nicely presented.
